WHY BE A PART OF A TEAM?

We are a community of runners and walkers! That is one reason why so many registrants choose to participate as a part of a team! 

Qualified teams, including corporate wellness programs, may receive team discounted pricing*

  • Teams of 5+ members qualify for team packet pick up* (team pickup must be confirmed 7 days prior to the event. Marathoner’s must pick up their own race bib and packet with valid photo ID)
  • Teams of 10+ qualify for reserved team space on race day (think tent, table, chairs, decorations and gear), the option for early load in of team gear, team zone hydration and snacks provided by the race AND a private pre-race team photo op at the start/finish.

BONUS: All teams are announced on social media, website and will receive race day recognition. AND the LARGEST team gets a special award, bonus schwag and 1 year of bragging rights!

BONUS COMPETITION FOR RUN CLUBS!

The Coveted GOLDEN KEG!
This is a Triad Brewsfest exclusive. This beast of an award goes to the LARGEST brewery run club team to participate in Brewsfest. 

  • Open to ANY brewery run club (this is not exclusive to NC nor exclusive to breweries pouring at the festival).
  • Your team must be associated with ONE AND ONLY ONE BREWERY and requires confirmation by the team admin and the brewery in order to qualify. (Yeah, you and your besties might love beer and would like to create a team, but ya gotta be a true brewery run club to qualify!)
  • You MUST register as a “team” in the registration system with only those that register on your team counting toward your team size. (Same deadlines apply as with traditional teams)
  • 5K or Half participation qualify with equal “weight”. 1 registrant = 1 no matter the event.
  • Teams of 5+ members qualify for team packet pick up* (team pickup must be confirmed 7 days prior to the event).
  • Teams of 10+ qualify for reserved team space on race day (think tent, table, chairs, decorations and gear), the option for early load in of team gear, team zone hydration and snacks provided by the race AND a private pre-race team photo op at the start/finish.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: The cut off for teams to qualify for the reserved race day space and/or the packet pick up VIP treatment is 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 27th. While participants can still register and may join your team we will NOT be able to pull the late registration bibs to be picked up with the team NOR will we be able to adjust the reserved space for race day set up.
